The Newark Soccer Club participated in the Newark Days Parade on September 19, 2009.
The following teams represented the soccer club:
U6 and U8 Boys - "Smash"
U10 Boys - "Earthquakes".
Also present was the President of the Newark Soccer Club, Roddy Lopez.

Newark Barcelona, U19 Boys Class 1 Gold team, coached by Gus Garcia and Manny Chavez, are the tournament champions for Soccer By the Bay tournament held August 15 and 16, in San Mateo County. Barcelona won their first game 1-0, their second game 1-0 and the third game was a tie, 0-0. The championship game was held on August 16 and the boys won the game by PK’s. The goal keeper saved every single shot and Newark Barcelona made every single goal, it was an amazing game.

Congratulations to the U19 Boys Newark Argonauts who made it to the State Cup final. the end result was 4-0 in Turlock's favor.
