2008 Newark Champions Challenge Rules
All groups will remain open until filled, even if after application deadline.
Teams may be approved on a first come, first served basis after November 15, 2008.
Information:
Date: January 10-11, 2008
Location: Newark Sportsfield Park- Newark, CA
Cost: $475, payable to Newark Soccer Club
Games: Three (3) games guaranteed, plus Championship & Consolation
Awards: Medals to 1st & 2nd place, Medals to 3rd & 4th
Pins or Dog tags with Tournament logo to all participants
Officials: Only licensed USSF Grade 8 referees and above are used, with 3 referees on each game
Accommodations: Great rates available through our host hotel, Courtyard by Marriott in Newark
Dates to Remember:
-November 15, 2008- Application Deadline
-November 22, 2008- Latest notification of acceptance or rejection
-December 27, 2008- Latest date schedules will be sent out
-January 9, 2008: 6-9 PM- Credential Check-In at Courtyard
-January 10, 2008- Tournament play begins
