February 1st, 7th, 8th @ Love at First Slice (Formerly Shaker's Pizza) from 6PM-8PM
March 3rd, 4th @ Silliman Center-SportsField during Newark Cup

Newark Soccer Club will commence Competitive Team tryouts beginning January, 2012 for U8 to U14 Boys & Girls

Saturday, February 4th makeup date
Tryouts will be held at the Newark Junior High School
Please bring a copy of the registration form and arrive 30 minutes prior to the designated tryout time to sign-in and register.
All sessions for may include skills and agility testing such as timed dashes, shooting drills in addition to typical practice drills followed by small sided matches

Sportsfield Park/ MacGregor Closed

Sportsfield Park and MacGregor Field is officially closed for Newark Soccer Club use. Please use Newark Jr. High School, Monday thru Thursdays, 4pm-7pm, or Saturdays, 8am-5pm, for any practices/scrimmages.
You may also use a city park, in Newark( Mayhews Landing Park, Ash Street Park, Birch Grove Park, Mirabeau Park, Bridgepoint Park, etc.) for practices. Please consult your Director for further information.

Kidz Love Soccer Winter Program

Continue your off season training this winter, with Kidz Love Soccer.
Starting Saturday, January 21st, 2012, there will be a Skills and Scrimmage program, held at Sportsfield Park. This program is open to 7, 8, 9, & 10 year olds. They will be able to play in scrimmage games, starting Jan. 25th- March 10th.
It's a great way to get training, keep in shape, further your soccer skills, and play with friends. We encourage players from the same teams to sign up!

REFEREES NEEDED!

Newark Soccer Club is in need of adult referees. If you are a licensed referee, a competitive coach who needs to take the Grade 8 Referee Course for their coaching credentials, or a Division 4 coach who wants to gain more knowledge about soccer, we need your help.
A Grade 8 Referee Course will be planned for March 2012. Please contact Jose, or Myron, for more information, and to sign up.
